Security & Privacy
Your factory floor videos contain proprietary processes.
We protect them with the same standards banks use for financial data.
How We Protect Your Data
When you upload a video of your assembly process, it travels through a secure pipeline:
- Your video is encrypted during upload (HTTPS/TLS)
- Stored in Google Cloud Storage with bank-grade encryption (AES-256, unique key per video)
- AI analysis happens in volatile memory — Google doesn't retain prompts or responses
- Your analysis results are stored in our secure database with row-level access controls
Video Storage Security
Your videos are retained securely for click-to-play functionality
AES-256 Encryption
Every video is encrypted at rest using AES-256 — the same standard used by banks and financial institutions.
Unique Key Per Video
Each video file gets its own unique encryption key (DEK). One compromised key can't unlock other videos.
Signed URL Access
Video access uses time-limited signed URLs. Links expire after 15 minutes, preventing unauthorized sharing.
AI Processing Security
Vertex AI processes your video, then forgets it
Zero Retention
AI analysis happens in volatile memory. Google doesn't retain prompts, responses, or any data from the analysis process.
No Prompt Logging
We configure Vertex AI with disablePromptLogging: true. Your analysis details are never logged.
No Model Training
Per Google Service Terms §17 and CDPA, your data is never used to train Google's AI models.
Access Controls
Your team can collaborate while data stays protected
Row-Level Security
Database policies ensure your team only sees data from your organization. Complete isolation between companies.
Team Collaboration
Your team can view all videos and analysis within your organization. Only the owner can edit or delete their own records.
Secure Authentication
Cookie-based authentication with HTTP-only secure cookies. All API requests validated server-side.
Infrastructure & Compliance
Google Cloud
Built on Google Cloud Platform with enterprise-grade security and reliability. Automatic key rotation and management.
SOC 2 Compatible
Our infrastructure is designed to meet SOC 2 and ISO 27001 requirements. Enterprise-ready from day one.
HTTPS/TLS
All data in transit is encrypted using TLS 1.3. Your videos are protected from upload to analysis and playback.
Security Questions
Where are my videos stored?
Videos are stored in Google Cloud Storage with AES-256 encryption. Each video has a unique encryption key.
Does Google/the AI keep copies of my videos?
No. Vertex AI processes your video in volatile memory with zero retention. Google doesn't retain prompts, responses, or video data from AI processing.
Will Google train AI on my factory data?
No. Per Google's Service Terms §17 and CDPA, customer data is never used to train Google's AI models.
Can other companies see my videos?
No. Row-level security policies ensure complete isolation between organizations. Your data is invisible to others.
Can I delete my videos?
Yes. As the owner, you can delete your videos at any time. Deletion removes both the video file and all associated analysis data.
